Matt and I had a beautiful wedding on December 27th and now only four months later we are expecting our first child. We are excited and nervous about this next stage in our lives! The baby is due on November 10th and we have made it through our first trimester. It is amazing how time flies!
Yesterday I had my second doctors appointment. Matt and I went together to this appointment. This was supposed to be the appointment that we heard the heartbeat. But to no avail the baby didn't let us hear it. So, we went and had another sonogram. The first sonogram I had no clue what I was looking at. It was just a blob on the screen, but yesterday was amazing. We could see the baby move, open and close their hands, and kick away. I just sat their in awe of what was happening before me. And although we could hear not the heartbeat, we could see the heart beat away! 
WOW - I see a baby in there! I am so happy for both of you!
