Take two....

Momma is there something on my face?

Owen is really enjoying trying new foods AND he is really wanting to try and feed himself. Every now and then I give him the spoon and let him go at it. Here he is enjoying some spaghetti and meat sauce. 

********on a side note....I am having to send updates from my phone. My computer crashed, so I'm sorry if things look a little funny. Technology is great!

Beach Trip

Last week Matt and I took Owen for his first beach trip in Galveston.  Owen loved rolling around in the sand and jumping the waves with his Daddy.  We are so happy that we have a water baby and can't wait to go back again!

A Day Late...

It wouldn't be the 4th without matching 4th of July Shirts!!!

8 Months

I know I say it every month, but it is so hard to believe that another month has gone by and Owen is now 8 Months old!  Here is what we have been up to the last month...besides enjoying our summer vacation together!

* Owen eats 3 solid meals a day...breakfast, lunch and dinner.

* He still takes anywhere between a 6-8 ounce bottle every 4-5 hours.

* He is in a size 3 diaper.

* He is now wearing 12 Month Shirts and anywhere from 9-12 Month Pants.

* Owen is ALL over the house.  He scoots everywhere. He is soo close to crawling! He gets up on his knees and rocks back and forth constantly.

* His vocabulary is expanding everyday!  He can now say, da da, momma, WHAT, boo and I heard no once.  He has learned to shake his head no when he doesn't want something.

* Owen loves looking at  himself in the mirror and is constantly laughing at his reflection in the mirror.

* Owen got his first haircut AND he already needs another.  (That must mean he got his momma's genes! Sorry Matt!)

* His first tooth is going to break through anyday now! 

Owen continues to be a happy boy that talks and laughs!
