First Week of Summer...
Owen had lots of fun during his first week of summer!
He spent the first 3 days at Grumpy and Gram C's house while I was at camp in San Marcos. While at their house he said his second and third word... A Boo and Momma. He spent lots of time with Aunt Katie and Uncle David and was spoiled rotten.
On Thursday we went to stay with Kevin, Jennifer, Graham and Laurel for a few days! It was so fun watching Owen and Laurel interact with each other. They are just like old friends catching up with each other. Owen would just talk and talk and talk to Laurel. While staying in Austin, I decided that Jennifer and I should go and visit our old summer job Camp Doublecreek and show off our babies. It was really great seeing everyone. Some of the kids that were in our groups are now counselors...
Jennifer and I had to look at our handprints in the walkway at camp. So many memories of camp. It was a good visit.
After our day at camp and a short nap Jennifer and I took Owen to get his FIRST HAIRCUT!!! HE was soo good. I choose the firetruck for him to sit in (in honor of Uncle Patrick, the fireman) and he quickly grabbed the wheel ready to drive. Now, that's a scary thought...DRIVING. We took him to a great place in Cedar Park called Pigtails and Crewcuts. They were so good with him! I was most nervous about him moving all over the place and him being nicked with the scissors, but Owen just sat back and enjoyed the haircut. He looks much older in his new do!
n the afternoon, after the haircut we let the kids try a new snack...Baby Mum Mums. He loved them!
That evening we got to have a great dinner cooked by Kevin with Jennifer, Beth and Nancy. It is always fun to catch up with them!
Day Two with the Millers included a swim in the front yard and bathtime for Owen and Laurel! They had so much fun together!!!
We even got to have a little visit with Kelley and her girls on Sunday night! I wish my camera was working so that I could have pictures of our visit! The girls loved Owen and they have grown so much! We had a great visit in Austin and can't wait to have fun ALL summer long!
